Moogerfooger Ring Modulator LFO/Carrier Jacks?

I need some help understanding how I can use the LFO output jack and the Carrier input/output jacks.

Are these only compatible with other Moogs? Also, what type of cable is used for these jacks? (TS or TRS?)

I know the expression CV jacks need a TRS cable and I understand the use of those, but afraid to plug in the wrong cable and fry my Ring Mod.

What I’d like to do is some how use the LFO/Carrier Jacks with other (non moog) stomp pedals I have. Especially my EHX Deluxe Memory Man and Phase 90 and possibly a EHX Micro Synthesizer.

I have a print out of the Ring Mod’s Manual, but I doesn’t paint the picture for me as how to use these options and every search I’ve found only provides info on using these Jacks with other Moog products.

This may be confusing and I apologize, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Lots of threads on this, just search the forums.

Join the “knobtweak” group on yahoo and navigate to files>moogerfoogers>mf-102 and read “lord of the ringmod” after you’ve done a few of the patches described in there, you should be good to go .

In addition to the MF-102 manual and the LOTRM doc mentioned above -

Take a look at the CP-251 manual (download on the Moog web site).
It has a pretty good description of using various signal sources for CV control, and specifically addresses uses with the MF-102.

Might give you some ideas…
