I inherited a moogerfooger that has a wood end on only a single side.
Where can I have a replacement made, or does someone know the dimensions?
It looks like there is a seller on Reverb that sells Moogerfooger wood ends in different wood options …cool choices, but I don’t see “Ash” or something that looks close to original. The “Brazilian Cherry” looks close-ish and cool. $70+ it looks like.
I also just found this Reverb listing (long since sold) that has great pictures of the wood ends. I think with a rough cut, a Dremel (with some “usual” Dremel accessories), sandpaper, and staining it would be very easy to do.
In another thread I found red oak and Minwax’s “Gunstock” stain to be pretty damn close.
