If people find this useful/fun then perhaps a moderator could sticky this?
I thought it would be nice if people could post videos of Moog synths all in one place - I’ll kick things off…

Rock School was always a fun and many times informative show. I remember seeing this one when it originally aired in the 80’s. The MemoryMoog was (is ) a joy to play it has many possibilities. It can also be a very frustrating synth to play . When they are stable they’re great. The MemoryMoog has a cool program chain function on it where you can program what sequence you call patches up in. For example, in the video he goes from the percussive sound ( say it’s #34) then goes to a string sound ( say it’s #15) then say he went to the lead sound (#89) with the program chain you would store the order you need those sounds, then by calling up program chain you can go to each sound by stepping on a foot switch or using the up/down key on the keypad.
I never saw it. Our cable provider, back then US Cable, never showed any BBC programs. ![]()
FWIW, the Rhodes Chroma does this too.
Many synths did/do this, it’s not exclusive to the MemoryMoog, sorry if there was confussion. Fun that the Chroma and MemeoryMoog came out about the same time.
