Moog will always be my main thing, but...

this little thing sounds pretty cool too… (all sounds minus the Roland drum machine = Arturia Minibrute) http://youtu.be/gKrQttpNhMc

Very cool! nice Vid!

Very cool demo indeed, thanks again!

BTW I recorded a song demo for a band I’m in the other day. Started a bit Thom-Yorkesque and I did not want to be like this, so I twisted it a bit. Eventually it became something funny and, to be honest, reminded about your stuffs, which made me smile

Thanks for that demo Filtered ! Nicely done.

Sounds very “Korg” to me for some reason. That’s not a bad thing at all, since I love both the Moog sound and the Korg one !
At some point I could swear I was hearing maybe an MS-20 or a Mono/Poly (with the “effect” section on).

Anyway, it sounds very clean an punchy.

yeah, I’m reminded of the Korg sound too- especially the sawtooth- wide open with no “supersaw” or sub Osc sounds exactly like the intro synth (with the drums) on Eddie Grant’s “Electric Ave”, and he used an MS20, or so I’ve been e-told… and thanks!

Arturia have posted your vid on their face book page, Famous

Great vid mate!

Very cool video, That little thing sounds great. I have this urge to drink a martini now. :unamused:

MiniBrute is so cool, man. That’s awesome that you got one. I’m horribly tempted to buy one myself now. All that great arp action and MIDI compatibility (haven’t had anything that could send/receive MIDI since I sold my LP.)

I must make an effort to post more as I tend to browse but am never logged in or am browsing on my iphone and a post is impractical.

Anyway just to say I enjoyed this demo alot, I like the fact it has a video with it, this is impressive as clearly the Arturia is a relatively new acqusition for you and youve managed to post a great sound demo along with a video to perk the interest at short notice. And a pretty unique idea also, do you smoke anything before you get an idea as theyre pretty out there?

I enjoyed the song you put up recently also(the silver body suit one!!!), rewatched it a few times on youtube.

Well I managed to make the effort to post this time, thanks for your contributions I’ll look forward to more.

thanks! proud to have brought a lurker up to the surface! I found a weird little cocktail recipe book a while back, and upon realizing I had no vocal idea for this demo, and an extended synth solo seemed a little musically narcissistic, I grabbed my Bombay and went to work, haha!

I dug your video, commented on youtube. I HOPE they were really talking about alcohol.

haha Erik! thanks, and yeah, isnt that a bizarre way to intro a drink recipe book!? people were cuckoo back in the 30s- must have been all the lead paint and syphillis!
