Hey Guys! I just bought the Moog Sub 37 but received no cables attached to it. I am told you need one AC power chord for the power supply, and then one wire from the instrument to the speakers. But is it a specific AC chord with regards to the amount of electricity needed? It would be great if someone who has the Moog Sub 37 would tell me. Greatly appreciated

my GUESS is that since it has an internal PSU, any power cable that will fit will work. That connection has been used on just about every desktop computer or television for the last 20 years.
Jsharpphoto is right, any IEC power cord will do (from 100V to 240V, 50Hz to 60Hz). The internal PSU is a universal switch mode type that can be powered from any country on the planet.

As mentioned in the manual in the section UNPACKING AND INSPECTION (page 6) the box should have included a power cord. This is a power cord with an IEC 60320 C13 connector on one end to attach to the Sub 37 and another connector to plug into a power outlet (the exact type depends on where you live). If you didnât get one, Iâd contact the seller. Theyâre pretty common though and probably pretty cheap to buy.
The manual section POWER (page 7) also mentions the IEC power connector and says:
The Sub 37âs universal power supply will operate with 50/60Hz AC power sources ranging from 100 to 240 VAC / 50-60 Hz using 13W.
A quarter inch audio jack cable is not included with the Sub 37. What connector should be on the other end of the cable depends on what you want to connect your Sub 37 to. It could be an amplifier (or active speakers with an amplifier built-in), an audio interface, a mixerâŚ
hi nimar, in the old days, power supplies in synths were specific to the country they were purchased in. They were set for 110v, 60hz, or 220v 50hz, for example depending on the country.
maybe you have a minimoog or something like that and are confused because your new Sub37 is different.
these days virtually all synths have âswitchingâ power supplies if they accept AC power. So you just plug in a âkettleâ lead and it will automatically sense the voltage and hz and work.this includes the Sub37.
