Moog Prodigy: help me...please...

Hi everybody,
I’m new on this board…
first of all I have to ask you to forgive my lame English…I am from Italy, and a bad student too…

I recently bought a Moog Prodigy, and it really sounds great, but there is a small problem in it:
When I press or release a key without pressing any other key, a strange noise similar to a small click can be heard…

Someone told me it could be a problem of dirt, or oxidation of the key’s electrical contacts…and maybe it is, but I’m not pretty sure…

Have you ever experienced this kind of problem?
Do you know how to fix it?
Do you think it’s a serious problem?

I tell you in advance that it would be hard for me to find an engineer able to make a repair, but I have some skill in electronics, so I should be able to follow your suggestions if any…

Thanks for you precious help…

Bye bye
lollo

I finally got an engineer to check/test my prodigy and fix this “electric click” problem out…
He is not pretty sure yet, but he says that it is probably due to some kind of ageing of the capacitors involved in the “attack/decay/sustain” sections of the circuit board…
If capacitors don’t work anymore, when you press a key and close an electrical contact, the extra voltage created cannot be absorbed by capacitors, then it can be heard as a small annoying click.

This is just to give you a tip in case you’ll face this kind of problem, which is not too serious…
Bye
