For any early adopters out there: got my unit in today. Saw there was a new firmware on the website (v1.1.0, unit came with v1.0.2). Followed the instructions for update but it turned my unit into a potato. Wouldn’t boot past the logo after a number of reboots, left it alone for ten minutes with no change.

I went back into disk mode, deleted the bin file from the firmware folder, then copied it over again. That seemed to work.

Be sure you always “eject” the Muse and not just reboot it or pull the USB cable out. That will assure the full file is done transferring. Sounds like the first time your bin file was corrupted.

I noticed there are (2) OS files one has data and the other does not and has a _ character in the front forget what it was. That’s rather confusing but I replaced the one with the large amount of data.
