Does anyone know if there are any plans by the inmusic/moog team to release a 16 voice version of the Muse?
Only after they fix the 8 whenever that will be but at what price? Not sure I’d pay $6,000 for it.
Yeah I’m still waiting for inmusic to fix them and release new batches or guarantee us buyers it won’t caput after 2 months. It was very tempting but not after all these horror stories. I think there’s a bible verse on this, watch and pray that ye not enter into inmuse gas temptation. Mob Boog
Ya after 2 defective units and awful software they can’t be trusted until they own up on their mistakes and take actionable measures to fix them. It’s also crazy to me they don’t have people on the forums bug reporting, and their tech support is so bad.
Dude - you got two, they had problems. The instrument didn’t work for you, and you moved on. There are a bunch of us for whom the instrument does work. I know your experience was a downer, but maybe just move on and enjoy your polybrute.
Absolutely agree. I know the team is working on a new firmware update that should fix a lot of problems, but it’s disappointing to see yet another new Moog product released whilst I am still unable to use my Muse that I purchased almost a year ago.
At least I have a nice $3500 Fatar midi keyboard with aftertouch.
Oh man, that’s sad! Thanks for sharing. I still have a 16 Voice Moog One and they still haven’t fixed all the nooks and crannies on that synth that some people have experienced, mine thankfully is holding up well but the point is none of this behavioural incompetence from the InMusic team is inspiring much trust in us the consumers of this type of product and the wider synth community in general. HEY INMUSIC if you read this, you can’t keep releasing faulty products, neglecting customer service and moving on to release new faulty products and expect customers to stick around just because you print the letters “Moog” on it. If the quality is gone it will no longer be a profitable brand name for you.
And as a Moog One I am waiting to iron out bugs for years. The last update was three years ago (before the Muse and the Messenger). I think this is the way Moog is working in the past years. Only the Voyager got all firmware updates to iron out all bugs and also added features. But the Voyager firmware was not programed by Moog them self.
