Moog Model 15 with Geo Synthesizer

Hi,
First post here. I have an iPad Air 2 and own Geo Synthesizer. I was wondering if
I could use Geo Synth as a MPE controller with the Model 15 app without over-taxing
the CPU? I have successfully used Geo Synth just as a midi controller with some
of my other synth apps without problem, but I understand that the Model 15 is a little
more demanding of the iPad’s CPU.

Ok, I pulled the trigger and bought the Model 15 app and am thrilled to report that Geo Synth
does a fantastic job of controlling the Model 15! One thing to be aware of is that many presets
of the Model 15 have a Pitch Bend Range set for “2”. I set up the Geo Synth at 24, so if I change
presets on the Model 15, I have to check that the Pitch Bend Range is matching the Geo Synth.
It is also fun to layer the sound of the Geo (or not) with the Model 15.


Moog has out-done themselves on the Model 15 app!

Hi trancehk,

There is a global setting for PITCH BEND RANGE in SETTINGS/MIDI/PITCHBEND.

Just unhighlight the LOAD FROM PRESET button and set the RANGE to 24.

All Presets will now have PB set to 24 half-steps.
