MOOG Minitaur questions - Audio/Midi/MPC implementation

Hi everyone

just purchased the little Moog Bull and have a few questions.

i want to set this up:

MPC 2000 XL main Sequencer (no DAW here) - (has 2 midi INs and Outs)
Doepfer LMK Keyboard (has 2 midi outs)
Moog Minitaur.

besides Bass i want to use the Filter for other synth Samples, some Raw Osc samples from old minimoog for example.

  1. in this regard i can play full octaves without limits as high as the sampled OSC`s go right?

2)can i mix such samples with the Minitaur OSC`s for a combined sound to the same output?

3)reading the Minitaur is fully MIDI able, can i record Filter movement into the MPC in overdub? (PLEASE explain how to do this)

  1. whats the best cabling and setup to combine all these together with Kontakt in my Mac for some sample libraries?

Hey Y’all, (Amos) :wink:

Can someone please very plainly explain how exactly to write program control changes to an MPC using midi. I can change my patches easily with the computer using the software, but I want to record those changes from Ableton onto my MPC so that I don’t have to mess with it too much during my live set. I feel like the answer is so close, it’s driving me insane
