Moog Limbo Challenge?

How low can you go?

Might be ill advised but I was playing with a Freq box set up and got this Loooooooooooow Bump of a Tone lower than anything I’ve gotton out of the Minotaur as yet

Bad idea
I took the recording down it almost toasted my phone’s when I turned the volume a little to high

The Freqbox has some serious Bass potential though I’m impressed

Well, once upon a time I went into subsonic frequency ranges with my modular. It was fascinating to see the cone of my bass speaker coming out slowly following the sine output of my VCO. Ok, you could not hear anything at all, but the energy is there, believe me. It cost me hundreds of bucks to buy new bass speakers after I realized that the membrane connection was desintegrated afterwards

Modern synthesizers don’t go that deep, I think, but who knows. So BE CAREFUL, this challenge is dangerous…

It made a very odd and beautiful looking waveform on the recorder though must have been a lot of subsonic in it

Moog synths are dangerous - they don’t know that they can damage your monitors.

At a gig I played 2001 Space Odyssey Theme and blew my PA subwoofers. I wondered why I smelled smoke…

My system now has a Drawmer DL441 limiter inline, haven’t blown any speakers since!
