Years ago when i went to see Pulp at the Olympie in Paris, the music played before the concert was “Moog Kitchen” a pair os astronaut on the cd jacket and lot of cover of indie music by these guys…
Anyone to tell where to get it??

You’re thinking of the “Moog Cookbook.” The band is Roger Manning and Brian Kehew (who also designed some of the Voyager presets). They have 2 CDs I know of: 1 covered alterna hits and the other (ye Olde Space Bande) covered classic rock hits. Both are ESSENTIAL! You can tell they had a lot of fun creating them, and also had a lot of respect for the synth pioneers. I think my fave is their version of “Hotel California” that recreates the tune in a number of cliched electro-genres (the best part? the “switched-on” verse, of course),.
