well guys, everything is true what they say about the moog bass 
even the highs had tons of bottom-end

would be so, but they were accompanied with a pair of funktion-one resolution-one speakers too. 
Try a Taurus III through them and discover the REAL meaning of Moog bass 
btw, i was going to ask already: in what points can you distinguish between the “bass-feel” of a SP and a Taurus?
