It’s too bad that Moog did not follow through on the optional rear expansion bay for the 953 keyboard. It would have a been an elegant solution to integrate the modular reissues into a modern studio. Wondering if anyone has modded the 953 to have midi i/o and whether this is even possible.
Here’s the inside. It looks like plenty of room to put a DIY circuit in there.
