Not Moog but still very interesting. You’ve all seen the MonoTribe toy… um instrument… um instrument toy.
Well it’s compelling with it’s mini sequencer and audio capabilities but that ribbon is beat and it is getting up into the price range that might be better spent elsewhere like a Fooger or maybe not spent at all but saved (what’s that?!).
very expensive, i’ve seen kits for 7,50 home made , and a full upgrade with midi in/out and extra outputs and knobs foor about 100.
it’s a nice toy to sit with on the sofa, i admit.
The Mootribe is quite an interesting and versatile box, especially with the V2 update, however I feel (like many) that it was needlessly limited due to the lack of control inputs (perhaps deliberately, but I have no psychic insights into what Korg’s R&D or marketer’s mindset was when they developed it)
