Hey guys,
I thought you guys might like to check out the recordings from my old band, the Monoliths of Phobos.
We recorded all track live between 2009 and 2010, and our producer/lead vocalist is in the process of editing them. They are still very raw.
At the time I only had the MF-101, the MF-105 analog Murf and the MF-103 and numerous EP-2s in my line up. I also used the incredible Wait-States delay by Sound Substance, a RAT, and very rarely a Big Muff. My amps included a Fender Acoustasonic 30, a RAndall RG-300, and a VOX AC4TV, and I was using a modded Jackson Soloist SL1T.
Three tracks from producer’s website-

The band is presently on hiatus for a indeterminate time, but may reunite for future work.

Cool stuff, thanks. Coincidently, I’m in a new band, playing synth, and we’ve been recording in Lewisville for the past year. We have close to 30 finished tracks, and constantly talk about gigging, but there’s only 3 of us, and the sound is much larger. Who knows, if things change for you…,anyway, nice to hear from local artists in a fairly dead city for music.
Thanks for the reply Ricknboogie,
I also have a solo guitar myspace recorded from some previous sessions :

Actually it just features one improvised through-composed piece. All I had on that one was the Acoustisonic DSP the MURF, Low Pass Filter, Ep-2’s and my Jackson through an MXL. No editing. Twas loads of fun.
I appreciate the heads-up. I would be open to sitting in with you guys sometime. However, I have to disagree completely, there a lots of things bubbling musically here in DFW . . . its just seems to be a difficult scene to stay in and be successful also. There is a bit of a “sideshow” mentality to the way the politicians and people in power treat the artists here.
