You have -30db to +6db adjustable gain on that sucker. Did you try turning it down? Just trying to save you from an obvious mistake…

Yes, I brought it all the way down and then up about 5%. Can’t imagine the windows being intact if I’d pushed it all the way up.
But thanks for mentioning. I would’ve kicked myself in the head if I’d missed that and returned it.
There is also the possibility that you have some room resonances affecting certain bass frequencies. Try moving the sub to different places in the room. Sometimes just moving the sub a foot or two will dramatically change the sound.

Got a pair of M-Audio BX8 D2 today. Much more maneageable and still some solid bass. Now I’m pleased!

Gotta say, for that price… It’s a lot of Moogbass bang for the buck. I’d much rather spend my money on instruments when you can get monitors like these for $400
