strange, if i see this kind of prices more often , they seem to become real options ..

I daresay a IIIc purchased at whatever astronomical rate today will be worth an even more insane price in ten years. Given the world economy these days, maybe it makes more sense to buy one of these than stocks & bonds.
Now, it’s a different story if these machines are really fetching these prices 
Definitely better than hanging on to cash, although in ten years kindling may be more useful than electronics, after 2012 ‘n’ all. 
It’s not a true IIIc - the original 901 oscillators have been replaced with 921s. The 901s have an inimitable timbre.
Love the dual sequencer expansion cabinet though, not many of those around.
