Is there any source regarding Modular patches. (Not the Arturia..the real thing)… has anyone ever made any sort of library of diagrams etc.?
I cannot recall ever seeing any. (except in the S.O.B notebook boxed set)
There are some on the S.Com yahoo group.
The 2600 patchbook is full of them.
They’re Doepfer-centric, but you can recreate them w/ any modular… http://www.modular-planet.de/modular-planet.html Wobble Chaos is especially cool,but mostly because it’s my patch… ![]()

The Moog Modular Owner’s Manual, by Dan Wyman. This book is also referenced in the module descriptions on the Moog Archives site.
Mike Bucki listed it on his website at one point for around $55US. If he ever gets Modusonics back up, maybe he’ll offer it again.
Hello,
One of my favorites is a set of volumes published around…78??
Roland named the set “The Synthesizer” and there were four volumes.
I had the last two, which were titled, “Practical Synthesis For Electronic Music” (pts 1 & 2), and they sometimes come up on ebay.
Roland used the set of volumes for it’s System 100M modular series.
The book, “Synthesizer Technique”, compiled by the editors of Keyboard
Magazine 1984. Its a collection of articles penned by Dr. Moog himself, Roger Powell, Patrick Gleeson, etc..
