I’m holding out for the Little Phatty Stage but wondered how easy it would be to modify the LEDs so it would be blue and amber rather then red and amber…that’d look amazing…
Just open it up and change the LEDs to the color you want. Just make sure to use the same value LED.

It’s pretty easy. But if you don’t have much experience with a soldering iron, you’d be taking a fairly substantial risk by getting your first practice on this braqnd new $1500 precision instrument. There are alot things you could inadvertantly damage if you weren’t careful (or if you didn’t know what to be careful of).
But if you can figure out how it’s supposed to be properly opened, and you don’t touch anything else besides the few LEDs you want to swap out, and you’re very careful not to touch the iron to anything but the LEDs you want to desolder and then solder back in— you could probably do it.
But you should know that any real electronics tech (which I am not one) would tell you you’d be crazy to do so.
That’s what they always tell me when I do these sort of things.
I’m not much of a risk taker when it comes to modding equipment…even if blue AND orange would look AMAZING on the stage.
