Psychotropic Stereo Soundpack for Moog Model 15 Modular App
The presets in the Psychotropic Stereo Soundpack represent 30 experiments in pushing the Model 15 Modular app as far as it can go, whether it’s mimicking a famous synth-based song, exploring the power of a particular module, or just seeing how many different things can be done at once. All of these presets have been tweaked to provide psychotropic stereo effects which will inspire hours of jamming, and will offer insights on non-conventional ways to use the various modules.
Each of these audio demos were played directly from an iPod mini, using only the app’s Keyboard, Ribbon, and Animoog virtual controllers. No overdubbing or post-processing was used.
I heard the demo and downloaded them, they are fantastic! Did you make them Dan? I have watched your Sweetwater demos for years and I know this contains sounds from classic songs you use to show off the range of some synths.
BTW the GAIA demo was a classic, loved it.
My best endorsement of the Model 15 App:
Last year, when I was flown out to Moog to do training and to make a video for the System 55, I remember the sense of loss the first night that I no longer was able to open the Moog building, turn the lights on, and go play with the System 55 with no time restrictions.
The Moog Model 15 App, in many significant ways, gives me that luxurious feeling again of having a Moog Modular all to myself, without having to share it with the next person in line. It’s just THAT satisfying.
