MOD PGM SRC: KB TRACK question

Try as I might, I can’t seem to get KB TRACK working as a PGM SRC.

All the other mod PGM sources work fine, and if I test them by routing them to ARP RNGE as the DEST I can see the extent of the mod depth visually using the arp range leds. Eg if I use pressure as a PGM src, increased pressure increases the ARP RANGE LEDs as expected.

But KB TRACK is doing nothing across the entire note range.

My goal was to try using PGM SRC KB TRACK to turn OSC 1 on below middle C, and turn OSC 2 on above middle C, so that in DUO mode with KB CTRL set to HI it would allow for better handling of simultaneous bass line and melody with static/open VCF/VCA.

Am I missing something obvious as to why KB TRACK isn’t acting like the other sources?

Okay, that’s weird - it’s now working okay with the ARP RNGE, showing off its bi-polar nature by going through all the lights from the lowest notes to the highest.

So far so good, but when I route it to OSC 1 ON as a destination (which is off by default), it doesn’t affect that control as I move up the notes - OCT 1 ON stays in its off state. If I change PGM SRC to pressure, then that works fine with harder pressure turning OSC 1 on.
