Any idea if the MIDI velocity curve that comes out of the MiniMoog Voyager’s MIDI port will be smoothed/improved? Currently, there are a LOT of low values (1-57) and then you have to really nail the keys to get above 100…Changing the velocity curve (Soft/Normal/Hard) doesn’t appear to change the MIDI much.

My voyager is sig edition #230 (cherry), I have the 3.3 OS/hardware memory and aftertouch mods.

What is the velocity curve (MASTER/page 4.3)?
Is it soft, normal or hard?

Hi Rudi,

I have tried all three settings; they seem to affect the amount of velocity on the internal routings slightly (the CV) but not the MIDI velocity numbers transmitted. The response seems hyper-sensative to the lower end of the scale (under 64).

Hi Patrik,
it is not possible to change that in a software update, there’s a processor in the keyboard and the processor has no upgradable flash ROM, sorry.
