Absolutely NOTHING online about the dimensions of the CP / VX format (not in docs, not in rack mount kits on retail web sites) so I was suffering somewhat today during work as I obsessed over whether or not the Minitaur would be/could be rack mountable.
Well rest assured folks, home now and my VX-351 is precisely 5.25 x 8.5 and about 1.75" deep. May need to address the end cheek on my VX-351 with a custom piece but expect a rack mount kit that either allows for 2 x Minitaurs side by side; or something that will allow for a CP or VX and 1 x Minitaur.
Moog likely not to release details on any rack mount or ‘handsome wood case’ until NAMM (as they did for the Slim) but at least the measurements are in the realm of possible with regard to mounting and co-existing with existing ‘box’ formats.
After the addition of the 108M, I have a rack kit with only the 105M and CP-251, I was hoping there would be enough space for the minitaur on there as well!
