Minitaur Step Sequencer?

Among the audio demos for the Minitaur is one track titled “Minitaur Sequencer Demo,” a tasty little track driven by a step sequencer. Does anyone know what step sequencer was used in the making of this track? Is it perhaps something that Moog is developing as an add-on for the Minitaur?

Could be anything; I have a synth.com q119 which is an analog sequencer and have it dialed up for the Rush Vital Signs sequence.

There are many digital Midi sequencers that folks have used with Moog equipment including MFG Step 64, Doepfer MAQ16/3 and Dark Time not to mention software like Cubase and others.

(I saw one posted a few days ago that was done with Cubase)

As far as I know, Moog has no sequencer product at the moment though the Little Phatty/Slim Phatty has a full featured Arpeggiator as does the Taurus III pedals.

That was a FutureRetro Orb, using the CV outputs to sequence the Minitaur. The Minitaur audio was running into a MIDI MuRF, which was also being clocked by MIDI from the Orb.

Very nice! Thanks for the explanation.

I’ve been playing with my Doepfer Dark Time hooked up to the MT. Works great and lots of fun.

I’m lusting for one of the blue/white Dark Times. Damn having already spent my tax return. Of course, the Minitaur is part of that spending heh

Hay all…I’m new to Moog!
I just got a Minitaur / CP-251 / EP-2 and running the minitaur with an Oberkorn3…
I’d love to know if any one else is using an Oberkorn with the Minitaur?
