Hello - I am a Newbie.
My new Minitaur arrived in fine shape, but I can’t plug it in! The problem lies with the supplied power adaptor (Mega Switching Adaptor - Model: FKS308HSC). The male (2 prong) plate (0306A4) is too large to slide into the adaptor. They are not compatible parts. I know it looks like it should slide right in but it doesn’t. Even if it did, the terminals do not line up.
Anyone else had this problem?
This is a 12V 50/60Hz 0.5 Amax adaptor.

You possibly have the wrong power adapter for your country ? (wrong wall prongs)
If so, just contact the store where you bought it, and tell them…
If that doesn’t work, you could always contact Moog Music by email to the support department.

That is not the problem. The part is cortrect for my region. It just does not fit into the adaptor housing. It is clearly too big.
Got my Minitaur last week from Alto Music in NY and had the same problem. There was no way the power adapter and clip-in piece matched. I called Alto and sent the adapter back to them. They said a new one was on the way from Moog. MEANWHIlE…I bought the right one from Radio Shack that I am using until I get the one from Moog (RS has a 30 day return policy).
