Minitaur patch exchange

Hi,

What do you think about a Minitaur patch exchange section?
A place were we could share patches

The moderators here will likely have an issue with monitoring the uploads, not to mention controlling access but I’m sure that Greg would be happy to host that over at the Yahoo KnobTweak group here: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/KnobTweak/info

There is already a | Files | Minitaur but not much there. Have a look and join if you are not already a member.

I just added a folder in the Files\Minitaur section on KnobTweak called ‘Minitaur Patches’.

Calling all Minitaur owners! Place your patches there, and then use this forum to let other Minituarians know that you’ve uploaded something cool.

  • Greg

just sent the request

In my opinion, if you want to share using images, it is necessary
to include hidden parameters (‘under the hood’), because they are
essential to reproduce the sounds correctly.

Is there a problem Amos with making a patch sharing section here?

Hi!
I just shared some USER Minitaur Presets in Yahoo group.
I hope it will be useful)

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/KnobTweak/files/Minitaur/Minitaur%20Patches/

That’s why KnobTweak exists! Thanks, Art!

Is it still active? Many people were left out after the last hack on the network. I would strongly suggest migrating its contents to another non-commercial repository. Maybe github/reddit/archive.org platform.

I know its a lot of work, and I am very grateful for your job @gregAE over the years with the yahoo group, but the whole network is fading away rapidly.

I don’t have much time but I am able to research and ask which can be the best place to migrate to. There are many locals here who know more about it than me.

I have learned lots from the group and your PDF documents and I do think they should upgrade to the new (3.0?) internet so they become more accesible.

What do you think?

I hope we could exchange our PATCHES.

Anybody here ?)

I’m no expert, but maybe a Github repository or a common hashtag in archive.org might serve for our purpose?

Absolutely, I’m not signing up to Yahoo

Moog should be seriously fostering this “community” it’s in their marketing enough.

A thread to share presets please.
