Minitaur on loan, any tips on what to try?

Got a Minitaur on loan for a week or two. It sure delivers bass, but I could use some tips to make it bubbly, growl or (insert favourite bass sound description here). I know it’s stripped down to the essentials, but next to my Voyager it tends to sound a little too plain.

LFO>filter
external noise > ext input
Moog CP-251>CV inputs
Minitaur output > stompbox pedals

plug in Expression pedal(s) and/or CV sources into CV inputs
update the firmware
download the free editor
check out the presets

Hmm. Strange. When I turn the LFO Amt to VCO and VCF there’s nothing changing. I’ve tried it on max Amt and different LFO rates, but no audible difference occurs. Is there something “under the hood” that needs to be set up? And yes, I play basslines while testing.

Turn up the mod wheel on your MIDI controller / source ~
By default, the LFO signal is synced to the mod wheel.
