SO I’ve spent WAY too much money on this (yet another) money-pit hobby over the last couple of weeks, and am now the proud owner of a Minitaur and MF-105M MIDI MuRF!
These are currently my only analog pieces of gear, but I have decent MIDI-equipped mini-studio with controllers, iPad apps, Sonar X2 DAW, and Lexicon MX300 Digital Effects unit.
First time I’ve dealt with analog synths since tinkering with my MG-1 back in the 80’s, so I was wondering if anyone could offer any patch / control recommendations for the Minitaur / MuRF combo that would help me get the most out of that hardware arrangement?
(I’m open to all kinds of “sonic exploration”, so any and all tips would be welcome!)
The “mini-studio” is now operational - and already thinking about the next add-on!!!
The Minitaur / MuRF combo looks (and sounds!) like it is going to offer some pretty crazy sonic exploration - and I haven’t even started experimenting with background MIDI functionality yet!! (That will a be a job for my iPad and “MIDI Designer” app…)
SO, concerning the next add-on:
What MoogerFooger would be a good addition to the gear I already have, and what would sound best - parallel, or daisy-chain audio connections going to the audio mixer?
So many hobbies, so many ideas, not enough time in the day or on the weekends…
