The firmware is fantastic otherwise…
To clarify, I’m talking about CC#82 which can be set to force the lfo cycle to reset each time a key is pressed. It isn’t working since I downloaded the newest firmware.
It works fine here when changing the LFO key sync using Push with the Mintaur Editor loaded as a plugin in Ableton Live. What is your scenario?
I have the Minitaur connected to a midi controller keyboard and I’m using the keyboard to change CC#82 to 127. It used to make the LFO reset when a key is pressed and now it won’t work.
I am able to test it tomorrow when I get back to our showroom, with an external controller
Indeed, there is something strange going on here. I found that it does work from an external controller without a DAW, as long as the LFO MIDI Sync (CC#87) value is set to off
Does that work for you?
bummer!
is it still saved w/ presets correctly?
I tried turning off CC#87 and it still doesn’t work. I also realized none of my CC messages are working… I’ll try going back to the previous version of the firmware later today. To be clear I am not using a DAW, just a keyboard with 5-pin MIDI out into the Minitaur.
All the presets remained intact, though.
Thanks for the replies!
I am reporting this to the developers’ team
Could you please confirm if the value you are sending to CC#87 is zero or simply below 64? That might make a difference
I tried CC#81, 82, and 87 all at 0 and 127 and there was no change.
It worked for me to turn CC #87 off. It makes both 81 and 82 work no matter where they are set for me. Hope this helps others!
