Minitaur Editor and MIDI Program Changes via Ableton Live 12

Hi all,

Has anyone had any joy in getting the Minitaur Editor to update in addition to the hardware when sending MIDI PC’s from Ableton Live 12 in the Arrangement View?

I’m using the Editor in standalone mode (mainly because I cannot for the life of me get it to work as a plug-in within Live… has anyone have any joy with that?) and I can successfully send the PC’s to the unit which then plays the correct patch, but the Editor seems completely bypassed? I have to manually load the patch via the Preset Manager on the Editor itself if I want it to work, which obviously defeats the objective of having Live send PC’s in the first place…

I need to have a visual reference for where the dials are set for live modulation purposes and am now at a loss here. This is assuming the Editor is capable of updating simultaneously in this scenario? At least I’m hoping so…?!

Would massively appreciate any intel at all. Thank you!!

For anyone looking for an answer to this, I now have it.

I can’t seem to attach docs up here, but Moog just sent me part one of the solution- request the doc “Moog DAW and Editor Integration“ from them (I believe this is separate to any of the manuals), follow that verbatim with Ableton Live and then make the added step of setting ECHO MIDI on the Minitaur Editor Settings to ‘on’. Job done.
