MiniMoog S-Trig Output?

Does the MiniMoogs S-trig input work as an output also?

I know this is true on the Micro, and I thought I read it was true of the Mini also, but I’m wondering if anyone knows for sure.

I’ve been looking for a Mini for a long time, and will soon pick one up, but I’m trying to figure out if I can use it to trigger other equipment, like external envelopes, etc.

Anyone know if the S-trig on the Mini is dual function? I thought I once read that it was…

Yes, it in fact does go both ways. I just tried it with a Minimoog and
a Rogue both connected to S-triggers. I could trigger the Rogue from
the Mini, and trigger the Mini from the Rogue.
I originally stumbled upon this when slaving a Taurus II synth unit from
my Prodigy. And was suprised when I engaged the Auto trig on the Taurus II,
it began to trigger the envelopes on the Prodigy. Cool!!
Don’t forget most synth gear will need a V-trigger. So a S-trig to V-trig circuit
may still be needed to interface. I have seen a simple schematic for this
from the Moog Modular Service Manual for the 961 interface. But have never
tested or built one.

The stock Minimoog has an S-trigger input - no output.

thanks terry; I was hoping it would; good to know for sure.
