Minimoog model d, osc 1 / 2 range switch " pot problem pleas

hey all i woke up this morning my and my girlfriends little brother had some how made oscillator 1 and 2 on my mini moog model d range switches get slightly screwed

basically oscillator ones switch goes round like a pot 360 rather than stopping which makes me think its just loose. while osc 2 is similar it still clicks but upside down if that makes sense so the 180 at the bottom rather than where the numbers are marked 8"16" ect.

how would i go about re-adjusting these pots any help would be appreciated

many many thanks:)

Your Mini is hopelessly broken. No amount of work will fix it. I can take it off your hands, however, and I’ll even pay shipping.

i hope your taking the pisssss

Niiiice… :unamused:

Anyway, from your description, it sounds as though the little guy torqued the switches too hard. Best case, the set screws inside the knobs were loosened, and a little tightening with a jeweler’s screwdriver (or a greenie) is all that’s needed. Hopefully, that’s the extent of the damage, and the switch shafts aren’t buggered up.

Smooth introduction for a first post, that wasn’t necessary. The man was JOKING and eventually answered your question.

There’s a lot of that around here and it’s meant as respectful ribbing. Deal with it.
