Please help…I am trying to control a Minimax with the Voyager…Is there a way to turn off program change midi out messages on the Voyager?
I can’t seem to turn off program change receive on the minimax…
I want only the keyboard, pitch and mod wheels to control the minimax…
Any help in this area would be appreciated…

I don’t think this is possible right now. But the Voyager OS programmer Rudi is listening to users here most of the time.

This would be a nice additional thing. And I can think of many situations this might be useful. Especially when one need to use the Voyager keyboard action to play an expander now and then (in addition the the Voyager).

I’m all about very simple…I don’t want to have to turn on a computer to make music…
I do need to update the firmware on the minimax…
I’ll check out the minimax forum soon…I don’t spend a lot of time on the computer…
Let’s hope Rudi sees this and can help out in the future…

I’ve been gathering info. from this forum for years(ever since I got my voyager). Never had to post before because it seems that I always found the answer I was looking for somewhere on here… 
It´s possible to turn off the program changes with the beta of OS 3.5

One month earlier, and I would have spared 120 euros for a midisolutions event filter.
Get ready to buy a used event filter for 80 euros as soon as I install 3.5.
What about releasing finished machines for a change, especially when speaking of 3000 euros tools.
I am in a bad mood about moog software today 
If finished means, working as advertised and what uses expect, then the Voyager had been ready for years (about 5).
All the new OS version added additional features. And sometimes some minor things were changed to make the Voyager even better, but without a new feature.
So the Voyager is software wise, much better then most other companies selling digital controlled or full digital synths.
Moog Music instruments are worth every cent to me.

Tell that to people owning a 2.00 release. Tell them that aftertouch was really there 5 years ago, and that filter sweeping didn’t sound like a Clavia, with more steps that the Tower of Pisa.
I waited 5 years before buying a Voyager, because the first releases didn’t match the advertised features.
And once I got it…
… you maybe want to check your version of the events with the guy who in this exact moment wants to send me a beta [aaagh!!!] version of the NEXT software release,
which hopefully will finally make it perform a function which was not only “advertised”, but detailed in the manual when I bought the machine,
and which doesn’t work.
That’s not about “new horizons”, that’s about getting the thing started.
I use analog synths - apart from their sound - also because I don’t want to be dependent on the “life support” of a computer permamently standing by my synths, ready to revitalize them, or restore them, or upgrade them.
Digital memories for patches, midi in/out, and digital scanning of panel pots (the basic software implements present on the Voyager) have been around for 30 years now.
Come on!
As far as these functions are concerned, it’s about time to get a software right before releasing a machine.
