Mini D and Kenton Pro Solo II, split the Aux signal?

Hello everyone,

My first post and a VERY happy Mini D owner since 2 months :slight_smile:

OK, I´m thinking of getting a Kenton Pro Solo II for it. This Mini has a mod so I can connect S-trigger (gate) to it directly.

I tried controlling it from my Prophet 5 (w Kenton midi) the other day, and it worked like a charm, besides the fact that you only get multi triggering this way.

Anyway, with the Pro Solo II you also get an Aux that you can route to the filter or vca input and control it from velocity, AT etc.

So to my question:

Would it be possible to split the Aux signal and control the Vca AND filter from velocity at the same time?

I don’t see why not. If you want a pre-built solution, you could

plug

buy a CP-251 and use the multiple to split the signal. It has attenuators too, that way you could control the amount going to each destination.

A diy approach would utilise a mono Y-splitter cable.
