hello i just got my little phatty, i love the sound.
I have been trying to set it up with logic 9,to record my midi,edit it and ply it back as a sound module.so i can build layers of sound in my production.
I have done all the wiring like i always do with my outboard gear.
i selected external midi channel in logic,assigned the LP as source and the right midi channel.
I created a audio channel assigned the input to the channel the LP is assigned in the motu interface.
I record enable the Chanel hit record and the play some notes.it worked to this point when i play back the sequencer the LP display a message (fatal error keyboard overrun)
I performed factory reset and master reboot.and nothing same thing.
I have done a new computer from scratch,and try several outboard gear and all of them work fine.
the last attempt i have done,the LP is not sending or receiving midi whatsoever.even if i connect it to a midi keyboard or another machine in the same midi channel,still do not respond.
The seller have told me to do software upgrade even that MY LP have 2.21S version intalled,i tryed,and it sayd stage 1 ERROR cilcle power.
and after that i send the file with the sysex libraryan and the LP do not receive anything.
I really apreciate any advice since i do not know what to do now.
Make sure to power up the LP with no incoming midi data. I usually unplug the midi in cable from the LP before power up. If there is incoming midi data during the boot sequence there can be issues. Also, double check that there is no midi loop (sounds like you’ve done this before so I doubt it) and that both the LP and the computer it’s hooked up to are well grounded.
