Midi Transmit Channel question

I was wondering if there is a way that different programs can transmit on different midi channels. So far, I can only seem to set the midi transmit channel globally. I would like to use the Voyager as a midi controller, connected to another synth, and have some patches transmit on different channels. For example, patch 001 can be just the voyager, transmitting on channel 1, patch 2 would be a voyager sound but also transmitting on channel 2, would be layered with a tone on the module. Patch 3 would be pure silence from the voyager and ONLY the module and would be transmitting on midi channel 3. Make sense? Do-able? How?

Hi there, I think MIDI settings are in the Master Menu, and are global. It may be able to be implemented in a future OS update ( ?)

That’s unfortunate, but I guess I didn’t buy the Voyager for its dazzling master controller capabilities

I will be one user very pleased when this feature is addressed!

I would not like to have the Voyager using different midi send channel per patch. This would get too complicated to use the Voyager just to play a rack synth now and then.
This is not a master keyboard.
And once you implement this, the next person will ask for split points on the midi out only.
