MIDI Murf Sync Rate

Heyy I just wanted to ask a question about the new murf if anyone had any answers,

If you sync the rate of the filters to an external midi time clock, does this mean you have no access to change the rate (ie from normal, to double, half speed etc but still in sync) or is this impossible because the rate knob is cut off by the incoming midi signal?

My goal is I want to use an expression pedal to do fast and direct changes to the rate, so if it looks like this where a - is a filter:

all help appreciated.

From the specs on their website:
“CLOCK_DIVISIONS: Front panel RATE knob/CC9 or LFO Rate CV Input/CC3 are quantized to 16 positions and sweep through clock-divisions of MIDI Clock Messages (12 o’clock is quarter-note):”

If you have it synced with Midi, then you can use the rate knob to divide the clock. As Amos posted on a different topic, you could also use the Rate CV Input to change the clock division! It also allows a midi cc to divide the clock if I am reading the info correctly.
