Midi Murf as a drum machine

So, I finally got around to messing with the midi aspect of the murf. Using the sequencer, I can create some pretty cool stuff. Do a four to the floor type of thing, then turn on the highest filter = drum/snare, then turn on the mid filter which runs at 8th time = waaayyy cool. Couple that with the playlist, basically, by turning on/off certain bands, and switching through the playlist, you could turn the murf into a white noise drum machine.

Now…is there any way to get an au/vst instead of a standalone? I’d like to sync it to my other projects and use ccs or program changes to change the playlist.

I was tempted to sell the murf, but this may just become a huge part of my rig.

Hi,

I’ve been doing the same thing, but have found that setting #4 is the only one that gives me a 4/4 pattern, as everything else seems to push it into 3/4 time for the most part. Would you be willing to share some of the patterns you’re using for that?

Thanks!

Another way to use the murf as a drum machine is to split the mono output, then feed it back to the input. (I usually run the murf into my freqbox before splitting it)
