Hi! So I have an LP SEII and logic 8. I am having issues getting sound from it in L8. I have connected it to the USB port and successfully used it as a MIDI controller to play with the EXS24 and other synths in Logic. When I create a new external midi track it shows that my LP is connected and it shows that it is getting signal from the LP and if i switch between instruments i get sound from the other instruments but nothing from the LP itself.(I have ran it through an Audio Kontrol 1 USB interface through MIDI cables as well as the built-in USB port on the LP to my Mac). Thanks for any help I can get!

I have to use a audio cable out from the LP to the in on my sound card to get sound.
Thanks for your responses! I had figured that out later, I was not aware that normal MIDI didn’t produce sound but only the signals to and from what ever you have it plugged into.
