maybe you red this before but i find no answer to my problem.
when i power up my RME, i always have to set midikey transpose to -1.
why ? ![]()
software version is 3.2

Do you mean it would be better to store this function after power off?
Have fun,

Sorry, there’s no chance to store the tune pot - it is 100% analog.
Maybe there’s something wrong in the calibrations.
Is the tuning better after 30 minutes?
Did you compare the tuning to a second synthesizer or a tuning meter?

interesting note:
when using my Little Phatty with a Mobius analog sequencer I have to transpose the LP down 1 semitone to get it pitched correctly. This pitch quirk doesn’t seem to happen under normal play use directly with the KB, only when i plug it into the sequencer..
maybe there’s a correlation here?
now … that’s strange ![]()
now … that’s very strange ![]()
i take it you might have tried it out? or maybe just pinging the post up? ![]()
naa .. i just mean it’s super strange ! ![]()
anyone else out here experience this? or have the tech knowledge to know why it’s happening?
could be some DC bias on the CV. if you hear the pitch jump when you plug into the pitch-CV input, this is why. You can sort it out in the analog domain with a CV mixer, or you could solve it as you are doing from the transpose menu. You’ll hear something like this if you plug an expression pedal into the pitch-cv input as well…
thanks for the rundown amos, this is the case with my analog sequencer, the moment you plug in the cable to the pitch cv the pitch jumps.
i tested using the cp-251’s cv mixer, and with a little tuning of the offset, one can get the pitch to match without transposition of keys. ![]()
cp-251 ftw!!
thx for your help.
I’m trying to understand all cause i’m not english ![]()
the CV ? what’s that ? CV is to connect a keybord to a analo no ?
it’s an RME so i use the MIDI input that’s all.
with midi this should not be a problem. sounds like you might need to get it recalibrated. i’d talk to support directly.
yeah … just send a mail ![]()
na … support moog must be very busy ![]()
2 weeks without answers … they ARE very busy ! ![]()
Hi, Moog support is just me… ![]()
And I have been extremely busy; I am also the lead beta tester for the new Little Phatty operating system, which we are trying to finalize this week. I hope to be back to my main duties by tomorrow, and I can start to catch up on outstanding service issues at that time. Sorry for the delay!

ok
please when you have a second tell me what to do. or how to calibrate the RME
