Reading the schematics the only way seems to be a DIY solution: Cutting the junction between the modulation oscillator (R802) and the pulse forming capacitor C909, providing the signal of the modulation generator as default to an external 6.3mm jack (switch connection) and leading the input of this new external jack to the input of C909. Now you can use any +/- 14V square wave / single pulse as an external input.
