mic stand doesn't

Hello I own Etherwave plus. Today I bought a standart microphone stand but it doesn’t fit for my etherwave. What kind of thread should I need to place my etherwave?

Will this help?

The EW thread is the same as a standard mic clip. Perhaps your stand needs an adapter?

Can you post a link?

Something like that , very standard. Maybe thread sizes in Europe differ, but in North America, you can walk in any music store and pick one, it’ll fit right on.

yes I think it’s standard difference. I’m gonna take a visit music store again

If your stand is too small for the socket underneath the EW, then that would be the adapter to get, a 3/8" to 5/8". If you screw it onto the stand first, then you can lock it on with the lock nut so it will stay with the mic stand.

thanks!

You’re welcome! Let us know how you make out, and welcome to the forum!

yay bought one, no my neighbours will commit suicide :stuck_out_tongue:

Glad to hear it worked out! Now, use the headphones, and spare your neighbors… at least until Saturday anyway!

Thanks. I’ve noticed a strange thing. I use my guitar effect pedals and when I’m trying to record a clean tone on my boss loop pedal it changes the tone. It exactly changes the tone when I step on any pedal. Is that some kind of grounding trick? :open_mouth: I’m trying to record a clear note and it’s taking a hellova job

How is it changing the tone?

It changes the tone for one Major third

Exactly which output from the EW are you plugging into your pedal?

the audio output

Perhaps you need to isolate the audio signal before putting it through your pedals. Maybe try running the audio through a small mixer, and then run the output from the mixer into the pedals.

yeah maybe it will help. thanks

Hey,

I just wanted to say, my synth rig is named HAL.
