mic pre amp and reverb with a voyager

hello
just got my first voyager, i am new to this stuff so here are my questions:

  1. i have a mic preamp from Behringer (mic-100 ULTRAGAIN) and a reverb stomp box BOSS RV-5. can i use them somhow with the voyager?
what is the relation between a stomp box that is ment to work with a mono source like guitar and a stereophonic source like the voyager?

  2. how do i record automations on a midi track (like playing with the cutof) in Cubase?

THANKS A LOT, this synth ia ABSOLout Crazyness!

The preamp is not that helpful unless you would like to connect symetric microphones using XLR connectors to the audio in of the Voyager fro tweaking. Be sure to trigger the Voyager to hear a signal when doing so.

Use only the left (mono) output of the Voyager to hook up mono FX units. or use a FX send and return on a mixer. Or patch in the FX unit in the Mixer Out/Filter In point. Not all FX types are that useful for this, but try it.

Be sure the recording and playback of Midi CCs is enabled in Cubase. Use the Local Off mode on the Voyager. And use the midi thru of Cubase.

And search this forum for more info. We had discussions about this before.

why use only the left for mono effect?
does it matters if its the left or right?

If there is a jack in the left output socket only, this output then sums the left and right output.
If you would use the right output only, you would get only one half of the Voyager’s sound.
Check the manual for this.
