maybe this is a stupid question, but:
can this cause some problems if I plug the mf-107’s osc out into one of the cp-251’s inputs.
I want to use this patch to control the gain of the osc signal into the little phatty’ external audio input.
probably I’m thinking in a wong way…
many thanks for your help!

Would you want to attenuate the oscillator signal? If so, use the attenuators, not the mixer. The mixer is used for combining signals.
Many people have used the attenuator for audio; even putting it after a hi-gain preamp IIRC.

It seems to me that you can use the mixer in that way, but some people have experienced noise issues when trying to use the CP mixer for audio.
I never tried to send the OSC out to the attenuators, it might just work though.

i’ve been using the cv mixer for audio for a while, no big problems, although you get a high pitch whine around the noise floor, don’t know what that’s about, but typically your instruments are way louder than the whine so it’s manageable.
many thanks for your answers/explanations - now it is more clear to me
