Q: Why did Moog skip the MF-106 in the Moogerfooger lineup?
A: The Moog folks would have to provide the definitive answer here, but one thought is that by jumping over the '106 model number, Moog created a hole in the product line that opens up speculation as to what it might have been (i.e. the ‘missing’ device that never saw the light of day) or what it might be (i.e. it’s still in development and not ready yet).
“Introducing the MF-106TC - The MF-106TC Time Compressor has the opposite function of analog delays in that is compresses the time of the input audio, allowing the performer to hear notes they haven’t yet played.”
I wonder if there is a player switch on it where you have your guitarist of choice !
