Hello,
New to the group here. It’s been quite helpful with issues that I’ve had over the past year or so.
I’ve looked around to see if there’s a mod for this with no luck. I’m not technically proficient to know if this is even possible, but I would like to eliminate the pop/click that occurs when you rock the “Short” & “Long” switch back and forth on the MF-104Z. I get some great sounds when using it with my Voyager but the clicking kills it for me. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
thanks!

Hi, hmm, I don’t get this with my SD…
It could be that the switch contacts are dirty, so the infamously nasty contact cleaner may do the trick. The pops are something like little arcs occurring as the circuit comes up to voltage, like when you turn a light switch or power outlet on slowly. I wouldn’t expect clicks with such a small current/voltage. (?) One other fix (or potential failure point) might involve a capacitor to absorb the voltage spike.
So yeah, maybe try the contact cleaner ducks. It’s not like it’s a potentiometer, you’d just be cleaning the switch. I think the rocker part can be separated, perhaps swab around with some fluid.
(YMMV)

Thanks.
So you don’t get a pop or click noise at all when switching between the two as a signal is passing through?
