Hi, I’m about to list my mf 104 sd on ebay, and I’m not sure what to set the price at. I know it’s one of 250 ever made, so I was thinking of setting the price at $1200. Too high?? thanks for the feedback
It will be what the market will bear. Try doing a completed listing search on eBay to see what they actually sold (or didn’t) for. Then start your auction accordingly.
Like everything on eBay, you’ll be stuck between wanting too much and not getting what you want for it. Do a buy-it-now if you have a # in mind. Prepare to waste weeks on end trying find the right person with a) desire and b) dough.
Like you said, such a limited amount made, I would expect that you might do better posting here, on some of the usenet groups, craigs list, etc. For sure, you’ll pay a good amount in fees between eBay and PayPal if you list at a high price.
Items that sell in volume give the seller the opportunity to list low and see what the market will bring. With this type of item, it’s a crap shoot.
I’m sure there is somebody out there dying for one and that has the money, it’s just finding him/her.
.
I did a search for one like mine and there are no listings for the mf 104SD…I actually listed it already with a buy it now for $1050. If someone on here is interested, I’ll take $1000 and forget about ebay. thanks for the feedback
