MF-101 Low-pass Filter rocker-switch pop problem.

I just received a Big Briar version of the MF-101 (pre-Moog) and there is a noticeable pop/click when rocking between 2-pole and 4-pole on it and I was wondering if this is character to the pedal or if the copy I received wasn’t as well taken care of as alleged?

Any and all responses will go immensely appreciated.

The Slow/Fast rocker does not result in the any pop/click, for what it’s worth.

I have the latter Moog Music version, and it does the same thing. I think that it is normal to have a pop/click when the pole switch is toggled.

Me too, mine is only a year or two old. I suppose they didn’t bother to put any circuitry in line to smooth out the contact points. Very much the same way that guitar pedals that are not buffered pop when the footswitch is engaged.

If its a major annoyance, may be worth seeing if its dirty inside but you’ll need to pull all of the knobs and pot nuts to gain access.
