MF-101 in the MF-104 fx loop!

Just have to say, you can get a really nice character for your bass sound by using the 101 in the fx loop at envelope follower mode. High Res and Cutoff on 101, low Feedback on the 104 and delay set to whole or quarter note. Snappy delays that lets the original bass tones deliver bass (since high Res cuts bass) and just adds a rythmic feeling and “funky” flavor. If applied moderately it doesn’t interfer with the other instruments but when the bass is left alone or just with the drums (for those rare moments when lead guitar/synth-players can keep quiet) it comes through and gives the song a new feel.

Takes a bit of extra weight and place when gigging, but on the other hand. Playing your Minimoog Voyager and then having a bunch of Moogerfoogers next to it, flashing and ready to be tweaked. Can it get better?

Hmm… I don’t have any 101… but I do have a DOD EF440 clone!
So I’ll enjoy my holiday afternoon trying this and phasers and… :sunglasses:

you havent lived until youve put another delay with its own fx loop in the 104’s loop, to nest a third delay in

Wow… I’m not even sure to get it

I tried the minifooger Drive in the feedback loop and it works nicely, but I love when I use the minifooger Ring, with an LFO modulating the freq. value

Oh I forgot to mention I had tried the feedback loop woth a RAT too. It was just some tweaking but I think this can be useful in musical ways -I don’t seem to find a place for each tweak sound I get…
